Frequently asked questions
Everything you might want to know before getting started. If your question is not answered here, reach out any time.
Do you accept insurance?
We are an out-of-network provider. However, we can provide documentation to support your reimbursement process.
How long is each session?
Therapy plans are individualized and customized to each client's needs. Therapy sessions may range from 30 to 60 minutes.
How often will I need therapy?
Frequency varies based on your goals and progress, but most clients begin with weekly sessions.
Do you offer virtual or in-person therapy?
Yes. Care to Speak offers in-person therapy at a welcoming South Bay office and secure teletherapy where professional licensure and clinical fit permit. The right format depends on clinical needs, goals, technology, available support, and client preference.
Is virtual therapy as effective as in-person?
Telepractice can be an effective and appropriate delivery model when it is clinically suitable. Siobhain considers the client's goals, technology access, environment, and need for hands-on support before recommending virtual or in-person care.
How can I get started with Care to Speak?
Simply contact us through our intake form or schedule a discovery call. We will guide you through the next steps with care and clarity.
What can I expect during the initial evaluation?
The first session includes a mix of standardized assessments and informal observations. We will talk through your goals and needs and craft a personalized care plan.
Do you offer parent coaching or family involvement?
Absolutely. We believe in empowering families and caregivers with tools, check-ins, and ongoing strategies to support progress at home.
How much does speech therapy cost?
Care to Speak confirms the applicable fee and payment terms before you commit to an evaluation or therapy plan. Exact rates will be added to the website when the practice's pricing information is finalized.
